Rennsport Reunion V – The Big Picture Gallery

If you’re as down as we were at being unable to make it at Rennsport Reunion in October, you’ll know the physical pain we felt when viewing this great set of images from Porsche Motorsport North America.

These images were all shot on the Sunday of the event and in fact, there are simply so many great shots that show the legendary cars, drivers and the great atmosphere of what we hear was the best Rennsport event yet.

There are no captions needed, you’ll know the cars, the faces and the name of the turns at Laguna Seca. Just scroll down, enjoy the images and thank Porsche North America fior a great event.

Additionally, check out the great on board lap of the Porsche 935 K3. No music, no words, just listen to that great engine being driven as it should be.

One question we do have though. Why is it that old racing drivers just seem to get cooler looking as they get older?

Author: Neill Watson

If you love the sound of the Cosworth V8 as much as the V12 Merlin, the smell of Jet A1 as much as Castrol R and admire the late Ray Hanna as much as Sir Stirling, you’ll find you’re both on the same page. Neill's love of art deco buildings means that his ideal home would be a brilliant white, 1930′s control tower in Southern France, with crisply mown grass, biplane parked on the driveway and a Ferrari 288GTO in the garage. This is something that those around him tolerate, though it does concern them from time to time.
